Ventilation in tiny houses seems to be often overlooked for some reason, though it’s not too surprising to find them absent in a camper fan. How big is your van, and does it have a kitchen and bathroom? In our opinion, they really should incorporate some sort of mechanical ventilation to provide fresh air for occupants if it’s being lived in.
There is a company called Lunos that make ductless ERVs, and they have a product called an E3 that may be well suited for providing ventilation to a tiny house or mobile camper van.
I actually found one that works off 12Vdc!
It's called the BAL 25110 Air-Port Fresh Air Exchanger. Doesn't have great reviews but I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for getting back to me.
Glad to year you found a suitable candidate Ron, let us know if it turns out to be a winner.
This is also a wall-mounted compact ductless ERV system, here. It's great to see this style of ERV ventilation system as it's a quicker and more economical way of ventilating Tiny Homes, and so many we see for sale have nothing! They're also great for problem rooms like bedrooms a way to reduce condensation on windows or in humid spaces like to prevent mold in basements
