Are there any updates on the progress of the second demonstration house?

I am most curious about the effectiveness of the air tube floor heating system.

Hi Dean,

The house is still under construction and not expected to be finished for a couple more months. There have been Legalett air-heated floors across Canada and the U.S.  since the mid-70s, and even longer in Sweden where the company originated, so there is nothing new there; it's the addition of the solar air panels that is new at this point. We expect to see about 60-70 % of the heat load but we won't know for sure until next winter and we're pretty excited to see the results as well!

I imagine you saw the installation video of the slab on grade kit here as well as the radiant tubing. Watch for more on the Wakefield House coming soon! Best regards, Mike

Thanks for the reply. I noticed this new demo house is 2 stories. Is the Legalett system also supplying radiant air heating for the second story? Or is there a supplemental heating system for floor #2?
