How can I heat a bedroom above a garage?
We have an existing bedroom (25'x10') that sits above a garage. It was built with one forced air duct blowing warm air under the room but parts are very cold in the winter. As we renovate our basement I'm wondering whether we replace the existing system and install an electric wire system from within the garage. We have solar so the cost is less important than reducing our gas bill / impact. In fact we mostly rely on baseboard heaters (but still not fully effective). The question is whether there is a system that could be installed under my subfoor (I don't want to replace our existing hardwood floor), and whether I could spray foam over the system.
