We don't have green home plans to offer sorry, but you should check out our prefab LEED and Passive House ready kit houses. Some of these manufacturers of prefab homes offer design services for a fee, so you can make modifications to suit your lifestyle. Smaller homes are more eco-friendly simply from the point of using less materials to build and less energy to operate, so the floor plans they offer are designed by 'green' architects, in that sense that these are professionals that are conscious of the carbon footprint of the materials required to build houses and the energy required to operate them.
The best thing you can do for yourself to ensure you get a high efficiency durable home is educate yourself, so you know when someone is steering you in the wrong direction. So check out our Green Home Building Guide pages, and if you don't find all you need, drop us another question here.
I am planning on building on east coast in the future and I will be getting my plans from Passive Design in Halifax. They started the passive house wave in Canada and have many standard or can make a custom house plan for you
There is also Ekobuilt in ontario that focus on a timber frame and sip design.
