We started in 1990 with five people and a wealth of industry experience. We also partnered with The Probyn Group, a well-respected name in the forestry industry, to create ( what was then known as) “The Moulding Warehouse.” We began in a 7,400 SF facility with a ‘can do’ attitude and a sense that we could offer a superior product and service at a reasonable price. Some of those original employees are still with us today, and we still have the ‘can do’ along with the “what next?” attitude.
In 1993, to better reflect our growing business, we made a bold move in the industry and changed our company name to WESTCOAST MOULDING & MILLWORK LIMITED.
Going forward, in the year 2000 we merged with ALTERNATE BUILDING SUPPLIES based out of North Vancouver, BC. In 2004 we added a Stair Manufacturing & Installation Division, and in 2013 we added Interior/Exterior Doors to our product selection. Thanks to customer loyalty, hardwork and employee dedication, we are now in a 40,000 SF facility, with a staff of with a staff of more than 45 employees with our own fleet of delivery trucks. In keeping with our business model, we are continually updating our moulding and materials selection so that we are current with new trends, instead of being behind them.
