SRP Canada Inc, established in 2001, is a Canadian owned and operated manufacturer of AirOutshield vapour permeable (breathable) air barrier membranes. AirOutshield™ membranes are installed in rain screen wall systems and sloped roofs and perform the function of WRB, underlayment, secondary drainage plane, air barrier and /or slip sheet. With the addition of SRP UV Tapes, AirOutshield™ membranes can also create effective air barriers resulting in higher levels of energy efficiency. SRP breathable membranes are multi-layer, spun bonded materials that control moisture intrusion and accumulation in the wall and roof assembly. SRP membranes resist water and air penetration while allowing water vapour to escape. SRP Canada AirOutshield products make building more energy efficient by reducing the uncontrolled air flow though the building envelope without trapping damaging moisture. SRP AirOutshield WALL, AirOutshield ROOF and AirOutshield UV sold in Canada by SRP Canada Inc. are made from polypropylene that can be recycled into original polypropylene bead form.
