About
With the growing demand for buildings without foundations, the search for avant-garde and efficient construction techniques and the experience of more than 30 years in the field of construction of its founder, the ISO-SLAB floor slab system has been designed, developed and perfected with the contribution and collaboration of an engineering firm and a recognized polystyrene manufacturer.
In order to adequately meet the demands of the various projects (residential, commercial or industrial), five configurations delivered as a kit have been developed.
The ISO-SLAB system makes it possible to build a high-energy-efficient insulated structural slab differently without a foundation, at lower costs and with reduced lead times.
The use of the ISO-SLAB system, with its superior insulation and optimal use of thermal mass, is ideal for projects with radiant flooring.
The system is sold directly without an intermediary and transported to the construction sites from our 2 plants (Gatineau, Qc or Vancouver, BC).
Canadian and U.S. patent for all five models.
Environmental mission and strategy (ESG)
The use of the ISO-SLAB system makes it possible to significantly reduce the site footprint as well as limit environmental impacts in several aspects.
As associated with LEED certification, the use of the ISO-SLAB system and the absence of conventional excavation eliminate the need for heavy machinery on the site and limit environmental impacts, related to the water table and damage to the surrounding vegetation (trees and roots).
The expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation used in the ISO-SLAB system, compared to the extruded polystyrene (XPS) process, contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gases, both in its manufacture and its continuous use (secondary fumes). It thus provides a healthier living environment.
All components of the ISO-SLAB system are recyclable.
Compared to a conventional excavation and construction approach, the use of the ISO-SLAB system significantly reduces construction waste generated by the construction site.
