West Plains Engineering, Inc. is an engineering firm, specializing in the design of mechanical and electrical systems for all types of building environments. We have been providing high-quality service to our clients for over 40 years. Our story began in 1984 when a South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and a South Dakota State University graduate decided to start their own firm in Rapid City. Over time, we grew to include three additional regional offices in Sioux Falls, Casper and Cedar Rapids, all while maintaining our small business dynamic and belief that our designs are only as good as the service we provide. Today, the West Plains team has developed a reputation for having the resources and expertise needed on most any construction or renovation project. Our professional engineers maintain active registrations in all Midwest states and have strong connections throughout the Region because this is our home.
