We are proud to be South Carolina's oldest general contractor. First established as the John C. Heslep Company in 1918, the business was renamed by Marvin “Mac” McCrory in 1960. Over the following decades, the company’s regional influence grew as it served one of the largest retailers of the era. Now under fifth generation private ownership, McCrory continues to be a leading force in retail, commercial, healthcare, multi-family and industrial construction in the Southeast.
