Since our formation in May 1990, Roney Design Group has designed over 1600 residential projects. Our firm has established a reputation in the residential design field for having many satisfied clients. These projects have ranged from minor kitchen and bathroom remodels to new home designs of up to 7,000 square feet., as well as, numerous town home communities. We have specialized in custom new home designs, as well as second floor additions to existing single story residences and numerous first floor additions. We are Certified Professional Building Designers (CPBD) and proud professional members of the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD). We are also members of: Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) International Code Council (ICC) Better Business Bureau (BBB) Our projects are designed and detailed to be in compliance with applicable building codes, zoning regulations and the Florida Building Code. Also, we have designed numerous projects within flood zone areas to be in compliance with the regulations of FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and are familiar with the requirements affecting residential construction in these areas. Clarity and precise detailing are essential in providing the contractors the information required to accurately bid and to construct your project properly. As well as our own projects, we have joint ventured with several local architects to assist in the design and production of their construction drawings, as well as assisting with their construction administration.
