Partners’ Melvin Green, with over 30 years of professional experience and Emanuele Arguelles, with over 20 years of professional experience, embrace all aspects of sustainable design and have proven capabilities in a wide range of architectural services. KME is certified as an Emerging Small Business (ESB), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). KME was nominated as the best small firm in Las Vegas in 2010 by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and selected by the City of Las Vegas to lead the Master Planning and Building Commissioning of the oldest remaining elementary school in Las Vegas, the Historic Westside School. In 2016, KME received the Mayor’s Urban Design Award for the Historic Preservation & Adaptive Reuse of the Historic Westside School from Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman.
