AJH Design was founded in late 2010 and is strategically located in Elmira Heights, New York which is positioned well to serve the Southern Tier, Northern Tier and Finger Lakes region of New York as well as all of central Pennsylvania. The owner & principal Andrew Harding of AJH Design has 16 years of experience with commercial, industrial, residential, municipal and public funded projects. AJH Design has worked on a wide spectrum of projects for homeowners, business owners, developers, corporations, local townships, various counties, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. While our projects have greatly varied our firm focuses on the importance of be very responsive to the needs of our clients and we work throughout the project to ensure their goals are met. While creating excellent designs has always been a major focus it is equally important to us that we be extremely knowledgeable of any legal requirements, documents, and permits. The staff works very hard to ensure that any of these requirements for a project are completed in a timely fashion to prevent any unnecessary delays. This work ethic and understand the efforts required has resulted with even the most challenging requirements of publicly funded projects finishing with great success. We have excellent knowledge of building construction and can work with the selected contractors to provide a cost effective solution that meets the needs of our customers. AJH Design prides itself in being able to provide a clear and comprehensive set of project documents. On the majority of our projects the bids received have been within the project budget while most of them being below budget. This has allowed for additional alternates to be included within the contract. We are a customer centered business and work diligently to provide a project that meets our client’s expectation and ensures the contractor is providing the quality that is expected. AJH Design is currently comprised of seven (7) full time staff members. We also have a select group of trusted consultants that we sub-contract mechanical/electrical, structural, and civil work to when needed.
