The firm of David Jay Weiner, Architects, P.C. was founded with a focus on design and planning with the intention of providing quality architectural services that meet the diverse needs of our clients. Since its founding, the firm has been involved in numerous projects with a variety of clients and building types. Specifically, the firm has developed considerable experience in the areas of residential design, adaptive reuse and small to mid-size commercial projects.
DAVID JAY WEINER
Prior to starting his own firm, David Weiner worked on large commercial and institutional projects in the offices of Arata Isozaki in Tokyo, Japan, which included the design for a new Scientific Conference Center in Osaka, Japan and on the new Walt Disney Employee Center building in Los Angeles. He has also worked on a variety of projects types in the New York offices of James Stewart Polshek and Partners and John Burgee Architects with Philip Johnson.
David Weiner received his Master of Architecture degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington. Currently engaged in his own practice in New York City, David Weiner has served as a guest critic for architectural studio classes at the University of Pennsylvania, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Texas, Columbia University, The Pratt Institute and at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He has also lectured on modern architecture for the Art Department at New York University. The work of David Weiner has won numerous awards, been featured on television and been exhibited and published widely in various international periodicals, newsletters and websites.
David Weiner is a licensed architect holding registration in the states of New York and New Jersey and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
