Waid Cressy founded Cressy Door Company in 1952. Mr. Cressy hired one employee and put his dream in motion, to provide the best quality garage door products and exceptional service to Seattle area residents. In 1974, Mr. Cressy sold the business to Fred Witters who carried on the Cressy Door Legacy. In 1995, Rick Witters took over the company from his father, continuing the family legacy into its next generation. Rick has steadily grown the business and currently employs over forty staff members and boasts exceptional product lines that now include fireplaces. In 1998, Rick expanded the business and added a Kent location. To this day, Cressy Door and Fireplace has an outstanding reputation for being a community leader and providing quality products and exceptional service.
