Northside Heating & Air Conditioning is a proud second-generation, family-owned business, carrying forward a legacy of excellence that began over three decades ago. Founded by Rodney “Rod” Peterson as My-T Air in 1992, the company quickly established itself as a trusted name in the HVAC industry under Rod’s leadership. Rod was a man of unparalleled integrity and skill, who believed in doing things the right way, always holding himself and those around him to the highest standards. Rod's journey in the HVAC trade started with hands-on learning, working alongside his brother Greg. His passion for the craft led him to obtain his General Contractor license, specializing in HVAC. Throughout the years, Rod built MY+T Construction into a respected business known for its quality workmanship and customer-first approach. His commitment to excellence extended beyond just the job—he was a mentor, an educator, and a man who believed that knowledge was the key to success. He demanded proficiency, encouraged learning, and inspired others to strive for the best in all they did. In 2013, after many years of hard work and dedication, Rod passed the torch to his son-in-law, Jeff Amich, who purchased the business and rebranded it as Northside Heating & Air Conditioning. Jeff, who had already developed a strong foundation in HVAC installation and design, embraced the opportunity to continue the family tradition. Under his leadership, Northside has flourished, combining Rod's legacy of integrity and expertise with Jeff’s fresh perspective and innovative approach.
