Toledo native Ron Gabel joined two former business associates who founded VM Systems in 1973. In a short five years Ron bought out these partners and took over the business. VM Systems has grown from its fifteen employees to average around one hundred and has expanded it’s shop several times over the years. Ron’s basic principle: “Keep good workers working.” Since his retirement in 2012, Ron’s sons Ken and Craig actively run the business acting as Operations Manager and President respectfully. Our mission statement: “As a sheet metal contractor, VM Systems is committed to providing our customers with timely service and exceptional quality in all aspects of the industry. This is accomplished by continually investing in the latest technology and through the employment of trained union mechanics. By utilizing these methods we hope to expand our business and continue the sheet metal tradition.” This mission statement rings true throughout our divisions, HVAC, Architectural, Industrial, Duct Services, and Custom Fabrication.
