Temp Right Service Inc. was founded in 1977 by Charlie and Shirley Campfield to serve the heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration service needs of Western Montana. In 1989, Charlie and Shirley retired and the business was operated by Ted, an employee of ten years, and his wife, Mary Bergsieker. Comfort Systems USA acquired Temp Right in 1997 with Ted remaining as company president. Ted retired in 2012 and Travis Deaton, an employee of 19 years, took over as the company president. Comfort Systems USA provided growth in capital and the ability to better train and develop personnel in the highly technical market. Beginning as a State Licensed Contractor employing 3 people in 1977, Temp Right has evolved into a company with more than 150 valuable employees. The array of services has grown to include: Commercial and Residential Construction, Commercial and Residential Service, Commercial and Residential System Maintenance, Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Services, Performance Contracting, and Mechanical System Balancing for both air and water. As larger facilities were needed, Temp Right moved from the original 600-square-foot shop to a facility that has evolved to 16,000 square feet, housing engineering, project fabrication, construction department, service department, maintenance department, retrofit department, safety department, administrative offices, and technician dispatch. The growth in trained personnel and facilities to meet the highly technical needs of the industry have proven to make Temp Right Service the premier provider of heating, air conditioning, geothermal, ventilation, refrigeration, plumbing, controls and indoor air quality services in Western Montana.
