A3 celebrated its 50th year in business in January 2021. Based in Denver from the very start, our first projects were in Summit County and, from there, we expanded to work in the mountain resort areas of Vail, Aspen and beyond. As we honed our craft, our team designed interiors for boutique hospitality projects, spas, and multi-family projects on the way to realizing our true affinity for designing custom interiors for residential single-family homes. We learned that the close, personal connection to each individual client and their vision for home is what infuses our design aesthetics and sparks our imaginations. Each client works directly with one of our Senior Designers—Angie Warren or Laura Trudeau —and receives their individual, attentive service to ensure every interior design decision, material selection, and drawing is attended to with care. Known for our attention to detail, our team delights in creating luxury homes that also preserve the natural environment. For the past several decades, our design leadership has found clear purpose in incorporating sustainability into all aspects of our designs and our operations. We work closely with our clients, our team, our network, and our manufacturers to determine the environmental impact of our design selections. This purpose is at the core of our company’s values. A3 has won numerous awards for a variety of sustainable residences, been featured widely in shelter publications, written a design pamphlet on our transition to a green design firm, and published two editions of the book, Sustainable Residential Interiors, with Wiley and Sons.
