AHA Consulting Engineers was founded as a “client first” MEP/FP engineering practice, while valuing both one’s professional and personal growth. As we have grown from two employees to over 140, we always have maintained and strengthened our commitment to our original beliefs and values. About AHA’s History In August of 1991, Arthur Abbood and Martin (Marty) Holloran, P.E., incorporated Abbood Holloran Associates in Boston, MA. Despite the recession of the early 1990’s, our Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing design firm rose out of the economic downturn and experienced immediate growth. Marty and Arthur worked on high profile projects such as the Biogen IV facility in Cambridge, MA, and worked with clients such as Genzyme and Mitre Corporation. Within the decade, we grew to over 100 professionals and relocated our headquarters, currently located in Burlington, MA. With the location change, we changed our name to AHA Consulting Engineers Inc. As Arthur retired in 2000, Marty stayed with us while serving as a member of the Boston Society of Architects Advisory Board and the Board Member Junior Achievement of Massachusetts. Clients benefit from Marty’s 30+ years of professional expertise as he directs AHA’s numerous engineering, design, and construction projects of varying facility types.
