Saavedra Group Architects has been commissioned to design a variety of projects for a diverse group of institutional, commercial, civic and private clients in various regions of the United States, Central and South America. Saavedra, AIA founded the firm in 1991. Our office, kept strategically small, allows principals and key personnel to focus attention on every detail throughout the project, no matter how small. Our work ranges in scale and type. Saavedra Group Architects has been involved in the design and construction of numerous governmental, educational, commercial and medical facilities. These facilities have ranged from banks to maintenance facilities. Numerous office buildings have been designed and executed ranging from 2,100 square feet to 250,00 square foot multi-specialty facilities. These structures have been executed in both the traditional design/bid/build delivery method, as well as the design/build delivery method. Recently the firm was responsible for the design of the first LEED-Gold Certified projects in the Rockford area. One of these projects was the first LEED-Gold Certified community college in the state of Illinois.
