Our LAB is a place of observation, investigation, and experimentation. In unison, our design team, our collaborators, and most importantly our clients direct exploration within each project. We value the history and legacy of PLACE. Local tradition and memory inspire us, whether prevalent or buried. This imbues each project with a language unique to its context, ranging from Agrarian to Post-Industrial to Campus Ideal. Our research grounds us deeply in the community, cultural history, and evolution of a site or building. From this, we may INTERPRET the legacy of place, re-presenting the institution with renewed purpose and an enriched appreciation of the past. We greatly value the dialogue inherent in COLLABORATION with our clients. In our eyes, Architecture is fundamentally a cultural art, an endeavor inseparable from the mission and purpose of an institution.
