Christopher Derrick, AIA, -Principal and founder of Derrick Architecture, personally guides all design projects from the initial meetings through the completed construction documents. After graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago, he began his career with a wide variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and vacation home design. Over a decade later, he began Derrick Architecture to create traditional and classical architecture expressed in a modern context. Christopher Derrick believes beautiful architecture begins with inspiration from history. By blending historical precedent with gracious modern living, he has been creating luxury homes in the Chicago land area for over 20 years; each one refined to the unique needs and lifestyles of our clients. He believes listening to his clients is the initial step of design.
