PROJECTS While our projects are located throughout the state of Michigan, the firm is located in Norton Shores. Our design expertise includes adaptive reuse, historic preservation, multi-family residential, hospitality, financial, educational, commercial, professional office, healthcare, municipal, industrial and retail. As a multi-faceted firm, the CDS team works directly with each client through the entire scope of a project. This includes schematic planning, design development, construction documents, bidding negotiations, and construction administration. While aesthetics of the design are important, integration of the building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural) must be stringently considered. Another aspect of our services includes our ability to provide design/build services, partnering with builders to meet more specific client needs. VALUE With the goal of keeping costs low for our clients, we efficiently manage our overhead and utilize cost efficient building materials/processes in our designs. CDS utilizes technology and creative design to develop modern spaces that are functional, as well as comfortable to the individual user. As a LEED Certified firm, we also incorporate sustainable (green) design, as it not only positively impacts the environment, but reduces the life cycle costs of the building.
