Appel Osborne Landscape Architecture has over 45 years of experience in Landscape Architecture and Site Engineering. The firm has evolved from the original partnership (Obrist and Appel) formed in 1975 between Alfred Obrist, PE and Bruce Appel, RLA. Their vision was to join the technical aspects of civil engineering with the art of landscape architecture. In 1987, Alfred Obrist retired and a new partner was introduced to the firm, Marshall Goff. In 1989, the name of the firm was changed to Appel Goff & Associates. While Bruce maintained the site engineering technical expertise expected of him by Alfred Obrist, Marshall brought with him a flare for design. Appel Goff & Associates was now known as exceptional site engineers with excellent design expertise. In 1997, Marshall left the firm to pursue new avenues of interest and Bruce extended an offer to the firm’s only Associate, Peter Osborne, to join him in the Partnership. He accepted, and the firm’s name changed once again to … Appel Osborne Landscape Architecture. Bruce Appel retired in 2008 and Pete Osborne retired in 2021. Today, the current partnership between Vincent Pietrzak, Timothy Bonaparte, and Cory Jenner continues to operate as a synthesis of landscape architecture and site engineering with the proven realization that this extraordinary collaboration is an ideal approach to project development.
