Hydraloop’s mission is that every new building must be built ‘Recycle Ready’ and that in 10 years’ time, decentralized water recycling will become standard in every new building. Hydraloop advances sustainability and helps securing a future with enough water for all.
Climate change is causing severe droughts. Water stress is an emerging challenge in many countries all over the world. In the next 30 years, the global population is expected to grow by 2 billion people, with 60% forecasted to live in urban areas by 2050. Without changing our behavior, we will have insufficient water supply for any acceptable comfort of living. But if every home recycles its water, we can globally save 250 billion liters and an estimated 105 thousand tons of CO2 every single day.
