This Oakville backyard project is a masterclass in modern hardscape design, meticulously crafted to complement a stunning property that backs directly onto the scenic Sixteen Mile Creek. The goal was to create a high-end, functional retreat that feels like a natural extension of the home’s interior luxury.

To achieve a clean, sophisticated look, we utilized a tiered selection of Techo-Bloc masonry:
• The Fire Table Lounge: The intimate seating area features Techo-Bloc Blu 60 smooth in Beige Cream. These pavers provide a sleek, velvet-like texture underfoot, framed by a bold charcoal border that defines the space.
• Expansive Main Patio: For the larger entertaining and dining zones, we installed the Blu Grande line. These oversized slabs offer a grand sense of scale and fewer joint lines, creating a smooth, monolithic surface that leads the eye toward the lush greenery of the creek bank.
Custom Features & Focal Points
The centerpiece of this design is a custom gas fire table, offering instant ambiance and warmth for evening gatherings. Surrounded by lush perennial gardens and overlooking the natural beauty of Sixteen Mile Creek, this space serves as a private sanctuary for the homeowners.
The combination of the light Beige Cream stones against the vibrant landscape creates a bright, airy atmosphere that remains timeless and durable against the Ontario elements.
