Over the past 68 years, the firm has adapted to client needs and trends in the industry by designing a wide range of projects including: police stations, fire stations, court facilities, correction facilities, hospitals, municipal facilities and recreational facilities. However, education facility design comprises over 90% of our work. We are the oldest architecture firm in the state specializing in educational facility design. Although the majority of our clients are K-12 public school districts, we also have extensive history with upper level educational facilities including community colleges and universities. Recent trends in the construction industry, resulting from pressures from the economy, have focused more on adaptive reuse of structures in lieu of entirely new construction. We have been able to produce creative and extraordinary results for clients who have engaged us to examine their current facilities and make recommendations to salvage and adapt those facilities to new uses along with upgrading their infrastructure to extend the life of the facility while being more energy efficient and sustainable.
