Skorpa Design Studio is a small Architecture firm located in Bel Air, MD. We work on many different projects of all types and sizes. Our project types include: Church and Non-profit, Medical, Residential, Commerical (Office, Retail, Restaurants), Schools, and Industrial. The Firm was founded by Brian Olsen with the support of his wife Beth in May of 2005. Brian graduated from Virginia Tech in 1995 with a Bachelor of Architecture. He spent the next ten years working for a mid-sized A/E firm. In May of 2005 he left to start Skorpa Design Studio. The decision to start the firm was primarily driven by his desire to have greater control over his work and the types of projects that he wanted to pursue, primarily projects that make a real difference in the community. In November of 2005 Kenneth Proctor joined the firm. Brian and Ken had worked very closely together for five years at their previous firm and now have a proven fifteen year history working together to produce some exceptional projects.
