Projects range from residential to commercial to educational/civic/hospitality and more -- and include new construction, renovations, and additions. Lauren Reiter has practiced architecture for more than three decades -- the first 25 years in NYC with Croxton Collaborative, a pioneering firm in sustainable, "green" architecture. Upon moving to Maine in 2006 and opening RAD, now based in downtown Portland, all of RAD's work is characterized by high performance and sensitive, client-specific design. Interiors are highly resolved and often include custom cabinet work and other memorable features. Of special interest is the impact of both natural and artificial lighting on the experiential qualities of each project.
