Pill•Maharam Architects, founded in 1991 by David Pill offers comprehensive architectural services for institutional, commercial and residential clients. With hands on experience in the construction field, our staff brings a realistic body of knowledge to to each project to create build-able innovative solutions. Our work is deeply rooted in information we gather from each particular site and as a result our projects find their own specific fit within their environment. We have made a commitment to create buildings with as little environmental impact as possible. We are continually researching and incorporating the most up to date sustainable strategies so that our finished projects are environmentally responsible. Fusing creative ideas with functional, budgetary and programmatic requirements we create finely detailed environmentally responsible sculptural buildings and spaces. Our firm typically consists of 3-4 architects. Each one of us is involved in all levels of project development. We maintain a collaborative atmosphere, with open design dialog throughout the day. David has made a commitment to keep the firm small to allow him to be intimately connected to each project in the studio.
