Our staff includes personnel that are Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) accredited and certified Green Globes Professionals (GGP). These professionals look for innovative ways to meet the sustainability goals for every project in response to current expectations for sustainable, energy-efficient buildings that minimize their carbon footprint. Sustainable design is not something added as an after-thought at the end of the project, but a conscious and thoughtful process of incorporating sustainable practices into the design while educating the client of the life-cycle cost benefits and enhanced quality of space attainable. While a large part of our work deals with the federal government through extensive work at military installations, we also provide design services for a variety of clients to include commercial new construction, up-fits, both large and small renovations, governmental, civic and residential projects. We take great pride in the region and strive to provide beautiful, original designs to all. MBFA has received multiple design awards from the Eastern Section of the North Carolina AIA and AIA North Carolina.
