IN/EX Architecture, P.C. is a full-service design firm, founded certified as a woman-owned (WBE) in New York State. Established in 2018, IN/EX Architecture is a fresh, forward-thinking Rochester-based firm comprising of four architects with a robust history of public and civic experience. Founder Vanessa Villenueve, RA LEED and Jason Simmons, RA LEED, have a history of sixteen years of working together and completing 40+ projects within the City of Rochester. They are joined by Karsten Solberg, AIA LEED BD+C and Heather Landis, who have eight years together of collaborating on some of the region’s most exciting cultural projects. We are socially and environmentally conscious practitioners that want to leverage our skills for the greater good. IN/EX’s community-minded approach understands the requirements of the client and pairs these needs with a desire to create enduring and equitable spaces.
