Founded on principals of customer service and the belief that a well-designed building envelope waterproofing system is an owner’s most important building-related asset, CCi provides assistance through all phases of the remediation process to help clients maintain their facilities’ watertight integrity. CCi operates very differently from most other A/E firms. At CCi, the two corporate principles are uniquely involved with all aspects of every project including Investigations, Evaluations/Feasibility Studies, Design, Bidding Assistance, Construction Administration and, when requested, Quality Assurance Observations. Corporate principals Michael S. Cornett, PE, RRC and Derek B. Cundiff, AIA, RRC are two of only a handful of roof consultants nationwide having obtained the dual distinctions of “Registered Professional Engineer or Registered Architect” (as recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia) and “Registered Roof Consultant” (as recognized by the nationally distinguished RCI - Roof Consultants Institute). Combined, the two have been Project Manager/Lead Designer for renovation, structural engineering and/or roof consulting projects for over 100 different buildings over the past 25 years.
