Brian Halprin – Owner – AIA / LEED AP BD+C / NAHB Certified Green Professional / PHIUS Certified Passive House Consultant After graduating the University of Michigan with a degree in History and Architectural History in 1988, Brian earned a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois – Chicago in 1991. He has served on the board of a non-profit organization focusing on urban blight and redevelopment, and partnered with the University of Detroit school of Architecture to develop a prototype infill house for the city of Detroit. A licensed builder since 1991 and licensed Architect since 1997, Brian has run Brian J Halprin Architect llc and Halprin Construction Inc, each dedicated to conscientious design and construction, since 1999. Brian lives in Bloomfield Township with his wife and two sons. Green Building Services was founded in 2006 by Brian Halprin (and Brad Lavey, who now serves as a consultant to Green Building Services pllc).
