Swedroe Architecture was founded in Miami Beach in 1974 as Robert M. Swedroe Architects & Planners. While our name has changed, we continue to elevate client developments with a commitment to innovative design, modern aesthetics and sustainable infrastructure. Specializing in multi-residential architecture since its inception, our architecture firm consistently designs highly efficient, cost-effective buildings with practical innovations; with the firm gaining international recognition as the leader in its specialty. Many of the firms’ buildings yield 90 to 95% efficiency, resulting in long-lasting client relationships that span nearly 50 years. The firm revolutionized multi-residential design in the 1980’s by introducing the first “private entry elevator” concept. The unique concept offered privacy simulating that of a single family home amongst other advantages for both the developer and the end user. Swedroe’s innovative architecture achievements in Miami, and around the United States, have secured long-lasting development partnerships with clients such as Soffers of Turnberry Associates, The Trump Group, LeFrak, WCI Communities, Inc., and Coscan. As a top Miami Architecture Firm, Swedroe Architecture continues to be on the leading edge of luxury multi-family residential design with projects both large and small around the country. To date the firm has completed approximately 200 projects that have included a total of 3,700 occupied buildings, primarily high-rise towers, of which the majority incorporate this concept – To this day, Swedroe Architecture is known as the expert in residential space planning and this excellent mode of vertical living.
