Gey Gailleur

Backyard

Welcome to Gey-Gailleur, a second home for a European family designed and built by UrbanÉco.

Inside this magnificent residence there is a living room with a cathedral ceiling that bathes in light thanks to abundant windows that also allow us to be in contact with nature. The minimalist-clean style of the decor and interior finishes invites relaxation as soon as you step inside.

The architects explain: Our customers absolutely wanted the abundance of windows, despite the costs and the great challenge associated with this fenestration in terms of energy efficiency. Indeed, we had to prevent overheating in summer and coolness in winter due to "glass walls". We therefore assessed the prevailing winds and placed windows that open in strategic places to allow good circulation in summer, in addition to sunshades. A heat pump, radiant concrete floor and air conditioning system complete the whole to ensure year-round comfort for the occupants. Finally, the minimalist-clean style of the decor and interior finishes invites relaxation from the moment you step inside.
