I am curious about the measurable advantages and disadvantages of geodesic dome construction for energy efficiency in a zone 3 climate. Would the advantages of a geodesic shape such as the fewer materials needed per square foot and even distribution of heating/cooling outweigh the complicated shape and difficult insulation? Thanks, Tyler C.
