San Group and companies have 30+ years of experience of manufacturing lumber from harvest to home. Our Canadian made lumber projects have won us the Exporter of the Year award. In 2019, San Group’s president and CEO won the highly coveted Entrepreneur of the Year award in the Natural Resources and Energy category from Ernest and Young. We deal in all kinds of lumber dimensions for any wooden construction need like beams, sauna boards, plywood, siding, decking and fencing. With the same high wear resistance, strength and excellent appearance our composite lumber is significantly cheaper.
Environmental mission and strategy (ESG)
San Group reputation is built on being strong stewards of the land and its respectful relationship with First Nations. We believe it’s important to manage every aspect of our product development in this manner. It starts with being environmentally sensitive to the area in which we access our wood supply, adhering to sustainable harvesting, and using innovative methods to recover underutilized fibre that might otherwise be left behind through traditional forest practices. We create as much value from our fibre as possible, allowing us to reduce our carbon footprint. And our specialty wood products are all LEED friendly, low carbon materials.
