• Describe the purpose and benefits of the LEED Canada for Existing Buildings: Operations 
& Maintenance (Canada EB: O&M) rating system
• Begin to develop and implement a plan for LEED certification and recertification
• Describe the intents and requirements of each LEED Canada EB:O&M credit
Level 200. 7 GBCI LEED-specific CE hours, approved for 7 CEU’s by most provincial architects’
associations
 
Target Audience
Anyone working on projects seeking certification under LEED Canada for EB: O&M or who 
wants to become more familiar with the EB: O&M rating system, including building owners 
and operators, and maintenance professionals. Individuals studying for the LEED AP with 
Operations and Maintenance (O+M) credential may find this a useful course to attend as 
part of their study plan. The course also provides CE hours that meet the requirements for 
credential maintenance for LEED professionals, as well as prescriptive education for LEED 
APs without specialty upgrading to LEED AP with O+M.
